Despite all the rain that hit DeSoto County in the winter and early spring, conditions have returned to a "dry green" situation with a rising danger of grass and brush fires.
"We had a grass fire Tuesday near Miss. 305, between Bethel and Robinson Road, and it was dry green burning," said Mike Hancock, deputy director of emergency services for DeSoto County government.See the full content of this document
