Collierville Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department hosted an American Red Cross baby-sitting course June 11 at the W.C. Johnson House.

Two instructors and 15 girls spent the day learning how to be good baby sitters. The course covered topics such as how to interview for a baby-sitting job, making good and responsible decisions, how to supervise children, adjusting your actions based on the age of the child, keeping children and yourself safe in the house and outside and more.
