A Cordova financial investor wanted for the murder of his wife now is accused of bilking a Memphis couple out of more than $100,000.

In a lawsuit filed this week in Chancery Court, Michael and Barbara Roper say that in the past five years they gave Joe Caronna 10 checks totaling $102,963, but that he used the money for his own purposes rather than investing it for them.
