When we ran Shirley Landry's request for the sesame chicken recipe from the old Luau restaurant on Poplar, we expected to get several copies of Celestial Chicken, which we ran twice in 1997 and most recently in 2005. We were surprised and pleased to get a more authentic-sounding recipe with an older history this time around.
