St. Louis Catholic Church, an East Memphis landmark at the corner of Shady Grove Road and White Station, recently inaugurated a yearlong celebration of its 50th anniversary.
There was a Mass of Thanksgiving, followed by a cocktail buffet at The Racquet Club. More than 2,500 people attended the Mass. The celebration was the first in a yearlong series of events, including a Lenten adult education series, a Mass and dinner for former associate priests in May, a founders' night in August, and a St. Louis School reunion dinner dance in October.See the full content of this document
