Oak Elementary second-grade students are the proud recipients of handmade winter caps made by Melba MacAdams Rockholt, born June 15, 1923 , a native Memphian. Her daughter-in-law, Dixie Rockholt, is a second-grade teacher at Oak Elementary, where this year Melba knitted 95 caps for the entire second grade.
