NASHVILLE - Bill Haslam, the Knoxvillian to be inaugurated as Tennessee's 49th governor today, said Friday he expects to present a job-creation plan to the state legislature with in four or five weeks of its return after a two- or three-week recess today.

The governor-elect and his wife, Memphis native Crissy Garrett Haslam, spent their first night in the governor's residence Thursday night. He spent Friday making several more Cabinet appointments, hosting a reception for legislators, and attending a benefit concert that kicked off the formal inaugural weekend.
