T.J. Pitts says he'll be better prepared mentally. He won't have that "freshman-in-the-headlights" look when he lines up in the University of Memphis backfield Saturday at Arkansas State.

Pitts, a sophomore from Gainesville, Ga., will be making his second career start, replacing injured Joe Doss at tailback. A heralded recruit two years ago, Pitts made his initial start last season against Tennessee when Doss was penalized for arriving late to a pregame meeting.
