If coach Josh Pastner could find a way to chop off the last four minutes of every game the University of Memphis has played this season, the Tigers would probably feel a lot better about what they've accomplished through 18 games.

With their roster stretched thin and their starters carrying more and more of the load, playing a full 40 minutes of good basketball has been a huge challenge for the Tigers so far. But if Memphis wants to contend for the Conference USA title, there's nothing more important than finishing off close games because there will likely be several of them in the coming weeks.
