In Midtown, the ladies at The Parkview were feted in style in honor of Mother's Day. Residents and their guests were invited to a Mother-Daughter Tea on May 8.
At the elegant affair, long-stemmed roses were given as a tribute to each attending resident and harpist Frances Phillips provided entertainment for the crowd. For the event, Douglas Fondren, food services director at The Parkview, was assisted by Gina Epperson, resident program coordinator, in providing traditional English- style tea fare, such as strawberries and home-made scones with fresh raspberry butter.See the full content of this document
