Neighbor James Dowdy says rats drawn to the compost in Guerrero's yard are spreading in the Nutbush neighborhood. And he says a cat that Guerrero adopted to ward off rodents sometimes crosses the street to sit on the hood of his 1991 Cadillac Seville.
