OXFORD - A Washington -based public interest group says it will file a federal lawsuit here today on behalf of five Oxford residents challenging the constitutionality of state law that requires people who want to spend money on ballot initiatives to register with the secretary of state.
The lawsuit, which was to be filed by 10 a.m. in U.S. District Court, charges the law violates the First Amendment to the Constitution.See the full content of this document
