Summary

Today's question: Has the TSA gone too far with the new security procedures that require air travelers to undergo full-body scans or enhanced pat-downs? Or should Americans accept these measures as a necessary part of the federal government's efforts to keep air travel safe?

Yes, it certainly has gone too far. If prisoners are still able to get weapons into prison after a complete strip search/pat-down and body cavity search, then so can a terrorist. Our Fourth Amendment rights are being violated so the government/TSA can appear to be making us safer. Thanks to these new security measures, I have discovered that I enjoy driving long distances. I never plan to fly again.
