The 26th annual Youth Villages 5K Run and Walk, sponsored by Memphis Area Association of Realtors, is set for 9 a.m. April 19, at Ridgeway Center.

The event features a 3.1-mile course through the quiet, parklike neighborhood adjacent to Ridgeway Center that is a favorite course for experienced runners and families. Following the race, runners and supporters are invited to stay for the postrace party with live music, free food and refreshments. Face painting, chalk drawing, inflatables and other children's attractions and activities will entertain young Youth Villages supporters.
