The magical run of Germantown's Catherine Harrison through the field of the Dunlop Orange Bowl international junior tennis tournament in Key Biscayne, Fla., ended Saturday in the semifinals ... but not without a fight.

Harrison, 15, pushed 10th seed Kelsey Laurente to three sets in the Girls 16 division, but fell 2-6, 7-6 (2), 6-3. Harrision qualified for the tournament and blasted her to the semifinals behind an aggressive baseline game knocking off No. 13 seed Viktoriya Tomova in the second round and Kyle McPhillips, the No. 1 player in the United States Tennis Association Girls 16 rankings, in the third round.
