Sunshine and mild temperatures drew nearly 1,300 runners and walkers to participate in the recent 26th annual Youth Villages 5k run/walk, sponsored by Memphis Area Association of Realtors, at Ridgeway Center.
Many more attended the event and post-race festivities, and about 500 registered as spirit runners, helping raise about $80,000 for the nonprofit organization. Race proceeds benefited Youth Villages, a private nonprofit organization that annually helps more than 11,000 emotionally and behaviorally troubled children and their families.See the full content of this document
