WASHINGTON - The National Republican Congressional Committee said Friday that all of the money raised by Stephen Fincher can be used in the general election against U.S. Rep. John Tanner, D-Tenn.

The committee was responding to an assertion by Tanner spokesman Randy Ford that only a portion of the $308,050 the Crockett County farmer and gospel singer raised in the third quarter was designated for use in a general election effort to unseat the 11-term incumbent.
