It's not ready for residents yet, but Alpha Omega Veterans Services' newest home for troubled veterans got a public showing Thursday.

Ten homeless veterans "right off the street" will start moving into the 7,200-square-foot building around Aug. 1, said Cordell Walker, executive director of the agency.
