WASHINGTON - FedEx CEO Frederick W. Smith says President Barack Obama is "likable," "clearly brilliant" and "very pro-business."
Smith, who served on Republican presidential nominee John McCain's campaign, made his comments in an interview with The Commercial Appeal on Thursday as some Obama critics decried a pending health care initiative and massive government investments as a trend toward socialism. Obama recently said he admired Smith as "someone who is thinking long term" and said discussions with him have been "incredibly productive."See the full content of this document
