Summary
Upbeat music and videos, as well as a positive message, are what the students at Millington Middle School experienced during an assembly on Sept 12. The excitement and thrills of motorcycles, acrobatics, skateboards, freestyle bicycling and humorous skits grabbed the attention of the students and faculty .
Real Encounters performed their "Extreme Impact" 45-minute program in the gymnasium as a prelude to their free, full-blown performance at the First Baptist Church in Millington. Professional Motocross racer Brad Bennett, who is from Springfield, Mo., takes his troupe of young people throughout the Mid-South and performs at schools and churches.
