As I write this, American troops are engaged on three fronts: Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya. Two administrations have told us that innocent people - there and here - will be safer because of our military action.
I am a rabbi, not a geopolitical expert. And this column is not about whether we should or should not be involved in these particular military campaigns.
