Bill Eases Reporting Rules for Nonprofit Organizations

Summary


JACKSON - Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann says legislation being considered at the Mississippi Capitol eases reporting requirements for some nonprofit organizations, but will make all of them more transparent.

Under the bill, nonprofits wouldn't have to make annual reports on fundraising that's less than $25,000. Currently, the limit is $4,000.
