With two Grammys, 11 multi-platinum albums, and 16 Top 40 singles - including, just for starters, "China Grove," "Listen to the Music," "Black Water," "Takin' It to the Streets" and "What A Fool Believes" - the Doobie Brothers might seem a musical institution.

But somebody needs to tell the folks in Cleveland that. Despite being eligible since 1996, the Doobie Brothers have still not been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. If the snub is grating to the members of the band, still touring and recording after 38 years, with a concert scheduled for 9 p.m. Saturday at Horseshoe Casino's Bluesville, they don't let it show.
