NASHVILLE - The Clarksville man who authorities charged with extorting $10,000 from former Germantown state senator Paul Stanley in a legislative intern sex scandal pleaded not guilty Wednesday in a Nashville courtroom.
Joel Palmer Watts, 28, told Davidson County Criminal Court Judge Seth Norman that he could not afford an attorney. The judge appointed Asst. Public Defender Laura Dykes to represent him.See the full content of this document
