On May 20, the weather could not have been better for AuPairCare's first Family Day Cookout at Howard-McVay Park. More than 40 people gathered to meet one another, eat great food and hear about experiences with other cultures. Some of the families even brought grandparents along to be part of the event.

The families all have one thing in common - their childcare provider is from another country and lives with them in their home. These young adults come from all over the world to experience American culture and take care of children by becoming part of a family for one year.
