Town administrator James Lewellen believes Collierville can avoid layoffs in fiscal year 2011.

But Lewellen said open positions probably will not be filled and the Board of Mayor and Aldermen will face some tough decisions on the Capital Investment Program. Officials may have to discuss the choice of a property tax increase in the near future or the reduction and/or elimination of some services and programs, Lewellen said.
