It might seem that since the big summer harvest is finished there isn't as much for gardeners to do now, but according to Josephine Williams, Grow Memphis coordinator, nothing could be farther from the truth.

"Fall and spring are the busiest time. There's a lot to do in the fall," Williams said. "Leafy vegetables and roots such as carrots, beets and radishes are things that people are planting now."
