For the first time, Briarcrest Christian High School (BCHS) entered two students in the American Chemical Society's AP Olympiad, which was held on April 21 at Christian Brothers University.

Alicia White and Nico Barawid carried Briarcrest into the top 10. They competed again April 28, for a place on the National Olympiad Team. If they make this team, Alicia and Nico will be headed to the Air Force Academy in June to train for a possible place on the International Olympiad Team, which will travel to Moscow, Russia in July.
