The varsity bowling team at St. Mary's Episcopal School achieved a 12-2 season record, and went on to place second overall in the West Tennessee regional competition. Now the team will compete in the state championship in Smyrna on Jan. 24-26.

Last year, St. Mary's placed second in the state and hopes to come home with the first-place trophy this year. This year's team has an overall average of approximately 138. During the regular season, the team won 77 percent of all possible individual points, 88 percent of all its games and 86 percent of its three-game matches.
