Despite a drop in development-related revenue, Arlington's finances remained strong in the fiscal year that ended June 30, the town's newly released financial report shows.

Overall, property, sales and other tax revenues were up $381,000 from the previous year and the government ended the year with an operating surplus of almost $629,000, which boosted general fund reserves to $7.5 million.
