Marlowe Wood, recent graduate of Northwest Mississippi Community College's Funeral Service Technology program at the college's Southaven campus, is the recipient of the Gayle Galloway Award, given by the Mississippi Funeral Directors Association , according to instructor Larry Anderson.
Wood, a native of Idaho Falls, Idaho, is a fourth-generation funeral director/embalmer. He graduated from Brigham Young University with an associate degree in Humanities and continued his education at San Francisco College of Mortuary Science where he completed his degree.See the full content of this document
