Evangelical Christian School fifth grader Haddy Betapudi was the first ECS student to participate at the state level of the National Geographic Bee.
After being named the ECS Forest Hill campus champion, Betapudi, a Collierville resident, took a written qualifying test that was sent to National Geographic officials in New York.
