Two Plead Not Guilty in Plot to Kill President-Elect Obama

Two Mid-South men entered not guilty pleas Thursday in federal court where they were arraigned on charges that include plotting to kill President-elect Barack Obama. A 24-year-old man was convicted Thursday of firing shots in a van carrying five people, including a young girl who was struck in the leg. A Criminal Court jury convicted Telly Savalas Johnson of five counts of attempted first-degree murder, each of which carries up to 25 years in prison.
